Being creative is hard. Especially if you’ve got full time work or any other vaguely distracting part of your life to contend with. So we’re going to be sharing the opportunities we share on our socials here as well to try and make things as easy possible for you to get your work seen and read. Below are a range of opportunities for writers, poets and TV/radio writers to get stuck in this November with all that creative flare.

Female Pilot Club

If you are a woman from the UK who identifies as working class, then see the below link on how to submit to the Female Pilot Club with the first 10 pages of your current project. They’re working  to amplify working class female voices looking to develop their careers in TV/ radio, so well worth checking out if this applies to your practice right now:

ARC Poetry

Accepts unsolicited submissions from poets at all stages of their writing careers during our Spring and Fall submission periods: $50 per page – 3 poems limit (or total 360 lines). See submission guidelines below:

Mslexia

a publication for women writers looking to share their work. They have 5 different aspects of their programming that you can submit to at the moment, but Stories must be no longer than 2,200 words and poems up to 40 lines. There’s loads on offer so take a look below:

The Haworth Agency

The Haworth Agency are currently accepting unsolicited submissions for representation of writers, filmmakers and directors. The link below has more info but they are looking for up to 30 pages of a script and a CV/ brief introduction to who you are. Could be a fantastic opportunity for those who have already started their career but are looking to kick it up to the next level:

Wireless Theater Limited

A fantastic audio drama company who have the capacity to accept u to 5 unsolicited submissions, and in turn they pitch ideas to BBC radio 4 and Audible.
